Howdy. I'm Steve Rielley. Or Steven if you prefer (sigh, Cyn started calling me Steven, and now her entire family calls me that). Definitely not Stephen or Stevie, which might get you wiffled batted if used. Some terms that might describe me are: Software Engineer, cook, juggler, bibliophile and a generally nice guy (or so I have been told). I currently live in Sutton, MA where I work for Commerce Insurance as a Technical Consultant. In the past I have worked in Chicago, New York and Seattle for a variety of different companies. What are those companies you ask? Why Datacron, Prodigy Interactive Personal Service, Image Business Systems, Wall Data, Unitype Inc, and Attachmate. I am married to Cynthia Rielley nee Lavallee and have two step-kids named Brandon and Cody.
Hmmm, good question. I think it comes down to the fact that I really wanted to have my name as a email address (steve-rielley.com). LOL,yep that is about it. But, if you are a Rielley and you want an email alias, drop me a line and we'll see what we can do. Oh, besides that I do have some programming projects I want to try (and we'll see if my ISP and web host will actually let me do them), but that is further down the road. Also my friend Sandy needed a place to put his pages without them pesky ad banners.
Hosting pages for my family and friends, a Rielley genealogy page, an archive of the humor_drop and anything else I might want to write.
Sandy is a good friend of mine for going on 17 years now. He started off as an intern for me at Prodigy and we stayed good friends since then. LOL, also he is the guy who introduced me to Cynthia, my wife (if she is going to be calling me Steven...).
Originally, it was going to be a weekly email posting by me to talk about what I have been doing, things of the week and a big brick of humor. I don't do it any more but if you want, you can check out the archives.
While I was in Seattle, I attended the Bon-Vivant Cooking School. If you are in Seattle, check out the class schedule, it is a lot of fun. What do I cook? Chinese, French, Tex-Mex (Texas Chili in particular), breads and chocolates.
My stats? I guess we can go with the usual WEB PAGE INFO sheet.
